Birthday fun and a wedding...

The fun continued the Saturday after my birthday when we checked in to The Historic King Edward Hotel (courtesy of my parents) for Mandy and Grey's wedding in Jackson.

Side note: Grey is a cousin. He and Mandy live down the street from my parents and well, basically he raids their fridge and hangs out from time to time. He's turning into more of a brother than a cousin and now we have Mandy too.

Anyway, lots of fun and dancing was had and the wedding was beautiful. We Saw lots of family we don't see often and friends from a long time ago.

Did I mention my parents danced at the wedding??? My parents have never danced in my 35 years where i could see anyway. Yes, I was horrified!

Saturday after we checked out we had brunch with my parents, Lisa, Bryan and Landry at Another Broken Egg Cafe in Madison for my birthday.

The 35th birthday....

I like to think I have the most special birthday ever cause it's Valentine's Day! Plus, my parents always tried very hard to make it extra special and to make sure we celebrated my birthday and not just Valentine's Day.

It's also for the above reason that I think my birthday should be celebrated for an entire week. A thing my husband does not understand but he participates anyway .

I don't know what 35 is suppose to feel like and I also don't think I should be 35. I

Anyway, here is a little recap on the birthday festivities. Well, part 1 anyway.

My Valentine's roses came a day early from my dear husband. And then, I baked pink chocolate chip cookies and banana nut muffins for my buddies.

At work, we had birthday pizza and they decorated my office with our birthday stash.

Paul took me out to eat and then we went dress shopping for Grey and Mandy's wedding in Flowood. And he got me an awesome Earth Grace cross bracelet.

He got framed all-star photos, iTunes card and chocolate covered strawberries.

It was a pretty great day -- even if my BFF had to be reminded by me that it was my birthday. It was quite entertaining!

More fun on Saturday with the family!
